So I’m on my way to work and as my boss very nicely asked me to stop off to get us coffees I am happy to be starting the day quite nicely. It’s also Casual Day at school and Little Dude is feeling super cool wearing his pride and joy Red Bull X-Fighters top which he promised to guard with his life (cute!)

I’ve also had not one but two episodes so far with two grumpy commuters who would of course have suffered my fierce morning grump had I not been listening to the latest Tongcast (thanks Pete). OK I trod on ladies foot – hard – but we are sardines in a tin here which is why I was trying to exercise patience with Grumpy Man….

me “sniff SNIFF”
GM “would you stop sniffing please?”
Me “well I’d love to but I am allergic to cheap aftershave”
GM “I’m not wearing cheap aftershave – it’s Armani!”
Me “ah well I’ll just have to let my nose know then… Oh excuse me this Is my stop…”

He actually stared me down as the train pulled away.. I hope the rest of his day goes better. Nobody should be grouchy on a Friday
